Huynh Family:

Mother and Father of the Bride:

Mr. Keng Po & Mrs. Bory Huynh and family immigrated to America in 1981 from Cambodia. They have lived in Brooklyn, NY for the past 24 years. They started the Huynh family catering business about 22 years ago in a small apartment in Brooklyn. The small understated business focused on providing quality asian food. It soon grew and became well known in the tri-state area. Rany's parents worked hard for their family and have instilled the same work ethics in their children. They are unending in love and support but mostly they emphasized the importance of family values, something that Chris and Rany share a strong belief in.

Brothers of the Bride:

Victor Huynh also lives in Brooklyn NY and is the best big brother a girl could have! Being the oldest, he is always making sure that all his siblings are taken care of before thinking about himself. He went to Cornell for nutritional science and now operates the family catering business. He will be catering this wedding.

Phillip Huynh is a Stock Broker living in Chicago, Illinois. He is the closest in age to Rany and also the youngest child. The two of them fought and tortured each other as children and well into adulthood. But they love each other deep down. Phillip attended University of Michigan (Go Blue!) for business and received his bachelors and masters degree. He worked in New York for several years as a financial advisor and has since started a new career in stock trading in Chicago.

Sisters of the Bride (also bridesmaids)

Penh Huynh currently lives in Singapore and works for Bacardi International. Penh went to Wharton School of Business, U-Penn and worked in New York for several years before moving to Hong Kong, Beijing and now Singapore. She has a successful career as a business woman but is also known as quite the partier, a quality she shares with Rany and their Dad!

V. is an accomplished neurosurgeon at University of Washington. She and husband Brooke met in Boston while attending Harvard. They now reside in Seattle, Washington. They are recently proud parents of little Rowan. Rowan will be a flower girl (baby) at the wedding. V. taught Rany how to ride a bike, play handball and volleyball, and how to French braid hair!

Grandmother of the Bride:

Grandma Huynh had a hand in raising all five children. She had lived with her grandchildren their entire lives in Cambodia and in America. She fed each of us by hand and rocked all of us to bed! Phillip was the luckiest, having spent the most time with grandma because he was the youngest!

Busold Family:

Mother of the Groom:

Gloria Busold lives in East Greenbush NY. For the last 10+ years she has been a caregiver for Rose Zappla (Chris' Great Grandmother) and Nancy Casatelli (Chris' Grandmother). Recently she has taken on the challenging title of landlord, purchasing a multi family home in Renselear NY. During her free time Gloria exercises her green thumb in her beautiful gardens. Her dedication to family and friends is something Chris admires most about his mother.

Father of the Groom:

Alfred Busold lives in East Greenbush NY. Now retired, for many years he worked as an Ironworker all over NY State. His work can be seen in and around the Capital buildings of Albany. As well as the work of Chris' grandfather, Frank Busold, who was also a long time Ironworker. He has always enjoyed the outdoors and is an avid bowler and fisherman. His love of animals and love of teasing people has definitely rubbed off on Chris.

The Bridal Party:

BridesMaids: (Penh, Virany, Rachel, April and Jenn)

Rachel Emsley and April Spellbrink were Rany's college friends and roommate. They all met freshman year on the Engineering Floor of Warren Towers at Boston University. Rachel and Rany lived together freshman year, and April and Rany lived together senior year.

Rachel and Rany attended a fraternity party the first week of freshman year together. Rany got very sick and threw up on Rachel and that was the beginning of a very beautiful friendship. Rachel graduated Boston University as and electrical engineer and worked at Analog Devices for several years before deciding to conquer law school. She currently attends Suffolk Law and works full time in a prominent patent law firm (Finnegan Henderson) in Boston. She and husband Matt, live in Melrose, MA and they got married last year. Rany was a bridesmaids at their beautiful wedding.

April Spelbrink was responsible for giving Rany her first shot(s) of alcohol in college (a double Bacardi limon). She was also the first to meet and befriend Chris. Even though Chris and April were friends and Rany and April were friends, Chris and Rany didn't actually talk until junior year in college. April did bring us all to Chris' parties as well as all the bars/clubs around Boston. April graduated BU as a computer engineer and worked at Accenture in New York City for the past 7 years. She has moved onto a new job as a consultant in NYC and purchased her first home in Brooklyn, NY with her new husband David (aka Righetti). April taught Rany many things like salsa dancing and how to apply eye makeup. Righetti and April will be hosting a flip cup competition during the wedding weekend. Check with them for details. Rany was also a bridesmaid at their wedding.

Jennifer Romano is Chris' cousin. Childhood playmates, Jen and Chris were more like brother and sister then cousins. Both only children, they played for countless hours together at their grandmother's home. Jen was an amazing athlete in high school playing varsity basketball and won a State Title in Softball. She went to Siena College where she met her wife Dr. Joyce Barlin, and is currently a consultant for PeopleSoft Consultant. They currently live in Halethorpe MD where Jen is attending Design School. Chris was the best man at Jen's wedding.

GroomsMen:

Warren Estes grew up on the same street as Chris, though they didn't become close until junior high school. They played soccer together for years (actually they continue to play soccer in Boston) as well as constantly raising hell all over their home town of East Greenbush NY. Warren was there when Chris had his first drink (Blackberry Brandy) and it wasn't pretty. In the summer of 2000 Warren moved to Boston and for the next 4+ years He and Chris were roommates. This includes the 3 months Warren spent without power or hot water in Chris and Rany's newly purchased and under construction home in Charlestown MA. Warren graduated from Hudson Valley and is currently a Database Administrator for Interwise Inc. living in Charlestown MA.

Brendan Ryan and Chris met in Kindergarden where they shared a love of Transformers and Heman. Growing up Brendan and Chris spent countless hours playing backyard sports as well as any video game they could get their hands on. They remained friends through college even though Brendan went to the sub-par college known as Boston College. Actually except for maybe a year of their lives, Brendan and Chris have never lived more then a few miles from each other. Brendan recently graduated from Sloan Business school and is an Investment Analyst at Cypress Tree Investments. He and his wife Kristen recently moved into their first home in Grafton, MA. Chris was also a groomsman at their wedding.

Justin Naef and Chris also became close in Junior High. Chris and Justin spent years playing soccer together as well as tennis, concert band, and dorky groups like peer leadership and model congress. Justin was there for most of the trouble making, though he was usually the voice of reason... usually. He graduated from William and Mary and is the general manager for Nexgen Wireless & Communications. Justin purchased his first home in Albany NY about 2 years ago. Justin and Robert have been dating for 4 years and Robert (an extremely talented hair stylist) will be doing Rany's hair for the wedding.

Dan Pan and Chris met freshman year in Loretto Hall at Boston University. They were roommates for the rest of college. That includes 4 apartments in 3 years, 5 other roommates countless house parties and 1 run-in with the Boston Police. Through all that, Dan graduated with dual International Relations and Accounting Degrees. He is a Commercial and Residential real estate developer. He and his wife Anna live in San Francisco, CA.

Paul Wang and Chris were both Biomedical Engineering majors at BU and met in class along the way. They spent many a boring lecture together and "worked" on a seemingly unending number of homework sets. There might have been a few parties and video games thrown in there too. After Chris and Rany began dating, Paul swore that he'd never date another engineer... esp another BioMed. Last Summer Paul married his wife Monica (another BioMed Engineer Class of 2000). They live in Framingham MA and were recently blessed with TWINS, Nathan and Kate!

Flower Girls: Rowan Hillard, Ana and Keely Pryzborski.

Rowan is 3 months old and is daughter of Virany HIllard. Rowan is very good at sleeping and drinking milk.

Ana Przyborski, is the youngest daughter of cousin Lily and Eric. They live in Hawaii. Ana likes to cheerlead and ice skate. She is 5 years old.

Keely Pryzborski is Ana's older sister. She is 9 years old and also loves to ice skate and cheerlead. She was also a flower girll at Virany and Brooke's wedding.

Officiant:

Patty Matthews is Rachel Emsley's mom. Patty was like a second mother to Rany in college. She often came over for brunches and we usually went to her home to get away from school and lay on the beach. Patty put herself through law school and now works for GE insurance. She lives with Vince in Bradford, MA and works 5 min from Rany. They like to meet up for long lunches.

Speakers:

Orly Jalowski has been friends with Rany since high school. Actually, they met in "orchestra class" at Midwood HS. Rany played the violin and Orly played the cello. Rany loves Orly's contagious laugh, her adventous nature and her open-mindedness! They spent many days together at each other's homes doing homework and talking about their future plans. Orly attended New York University and has lived in NYC, Isreal, Ghana, Washington DC, Maryland, and traveled all over the world. Orly is recently engaged to her fiance Stephen. They recently purchased their first home in MD. When she is not traveling, Orly pursues an exciting career in Yoga.
